"Casa di Gabbiano" is located near Greve in Chianti. It offers the small natural stone house “Casafienile” and one big apartment – restored with much tast in typical Tuscan style.

Casafienile" is a beautiful natural stone house for up to 5 persons
with private entrance, considered parking lot, private furnished terrace, surrounded by approx. 100 square meters garden with beautiful view at vineyards and at the Castello di Gabbiano. The cottage (about 60 square meters) contains a spacious living/dining room with ceiling beams and Terracotta floor, kitchen corner, bathroom with shower and a bedroom with double bed and sofa bed. In the living range there is also an extendable sleep couch, which offers additionally sleeps. "Casafienile" is equipped with central heating, baking-oven, refrigerator with freezing, Sat TV, DVD, HiFi set and small household appliances such as iron and hair dryer.

For trips into the environment Mountain Bikes are to the guests at the disposal, a swimming pool offers refreshment and washing machine is also available.
In the periphery of 10 km (thus also with the bicycle well attainable) there are 3 open-air swimming pools, a golf course and different riding possibilities.

Greve in Chianti - and the old, triangular Piazza with the parish church Santa Croce, on which each Saturday market is held, is an absolute must as a trip goal. At the Easter Monday here an antique market takes place, in May there is a sales exhibition with flowers and plants and in September takes place here the largest Chianti fair of the area. Also one finds there the monument of the sailor Giovanni da Verrazano at the Piazza. The castle of his family is located just a little bit outside of the village on a hill and is today a famous vineyard. In the closer environment of Greve some large wine cellars are settled, which produce the DOCG wine Chianti Classico. Do not leave Greve in Chianti without have visited the Castello di Montefioralle. Montefioralle was originally a fortress and one feels there still the charm of one long past time.
