In the historical interior of the Maremma between Siena and Grosseto, near extinguished volcanic cone of the Monte Amiata and the village Arcidosso, "Casa Sole" is located in a small Borgo (hamlet) named Casone di Petricci.
This house is laid out for 6 persons - in 150 sqm you will have a comfortable stay. The ground floor is composed of the well equipped kitchen, a charming dining room with open-fire-place, one bathroom with tub as well as a large terrace in the green with barbecue in the garden.
In the first floor you will find a spacious double bedroom with additional bed and a charming livingroom with TV and CD-Player. In the second floor another double bedroom with additional bed and private shower/WC is available.
„Casa Sole“ is a perfect starting point for several excursions. The wellknown thermal waters of Saturnia are easy reachable (within 15 minutes by car).Also the next swimming bath in Arcidosso is within easy reach (just 15 kilometers distance).

You will drive approx. one hour by car to reach the seaside and the Lago di Bolsena. The Etruscan necro-poli, the sculpture garden of Daniel Spoerri, the Tarot garden of Niki de Saint Phalle, the small vine-villages Montalcino - the world renowened "Brunello" is produced here - and Montepulciano, the pictorial village Pienza, several monasteries and - of course - Siena, are only some of the various possibilities for a daily trip. In attition the island Elba lies in attainable proximity.

The next village is about 3 km far away, here you will find some small shops, the post office, restaurants and bars.
