„Agriturismo Il Ghianda“ - located at the sunny side of the Montalbano ridge in midst of olive groves - is the ideal place for guests seeking a holiday in quiet rural surroundings. The farm-house is comfortable and a stimulus to pleasant walks in natural surroundings. Altogether it offers four apartments in different sizes, suitable for 4 – 8 persons, in the main house and in the detached cottage two small apartments for 2 – 4 guests. Outside a 35.000 sqm lawn surrounds the farm-house together with a large and well equipped swimming pool, terraces and barbecues.

Main house
At the sunny side of the Montalbano ridge inmidst of 35.000 sqm olive groves the „Agriturismo Il Ghianda“ is situated. This antique estate is renovated thoroughly while at the same time keeping the character of the typical Tuscan former estate.
Pretigious vine and olive oil is produced also nowadays on the estate and offers vine/specialities tasting and you may also buy it if you like. Four beautiful apartments combine the Spartan and rural Tuscan style with the typical materials (stone, ceilings in bricks with chestnut-wood beams, Tuscan furniture, wrought iron) with modern comforts.

At the ground floor: two apartments (each 52 sqm) “Frantoio” and “Leccino”, each with large living/dining room, open fireplace and sofa bed; bathroom; bedroom with Queen-bed and bunk bed; private terrace. The larger apartments (69 and 76 sqm) “Muraiolo” and “Pendolino” are partly located at the first floor – each with direct access to the private terrace. In these apartments 6 – 8 persons may stay. They are equipped like the smaller apartments (large living/dining room, open fireplace and sofa bed; bathroom; spacious bedroom with Queen-bed and bunk bed; private terrace) – but with additional attic with double sofa bed.
Each apartment with private terrace, ideal for dining outside and/or enjoying the unforgettable panorama down to the valley and to the mediaeval village and the Castello of Larciano Alto.

Cottage
Both apartments „Casina“ and „Casina Piscina“ are attainable from ground floor.

In the top of the house is „Casina“ located. This apartment offers a comfortable holidays stay for 2 persons: A living kitchen with open fire-place, SAT-TV and fully equipped kitchen, the bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower. From the furnished external seat one can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view.

„Casina Piscina“ is located in the ground floor of the little house and offers up to 4 persons place for a beautiful stay. The living kitchen is equipped with open fire-place, double sleep couch, SAT-TV and complete kitchen equipment, a bedroom with double bed and one bathroom with shower completes the apartment.

At the swimming-pool (15m x 7m) with deck chairs and two furnished terraces you may relax or celebrate - two barbecues are for guests’s use. Another two barbecues you will find near the house.
On request you can have breakfast.

You are free to join migrations into the closer and further environment, sightseeings, guidance by the Padule (sumps) of Fucecchio with large bird protected area as well as vine/olive oil tastings on the estate or well-known vinyards of the environment (upon request). Internal products can be acquired to consumption and/or as gifts.
